KELIS READY TO DROP NEW ALBUM

Sean P drops new single from forthcoming solo album.

Kelis is getting ready to drop her forth album this summer titled “Kelis was Here.” The album comes three years after reaching mainstream success with her last release “Tasty.”

Rappers Too Short and Nas are the only guest appearances on her new album. “I’m a solo artist and I do solo albums,” Kelis said. She does however work with producers Scott Storch, Damon Elliott, Raphael Saadiq and Max Martin.

The first single off the album is “Bossy” which features Too Short. According to Kelis, “It’s just another strong kind of girl record – it’s a lot of fun.”

“Kelis was Here” will hit stores June 13.
