“He’s a little bit like me actually. He’s grown up in a small town his whole life and what he thinks is fun and exciting somebody in the city would go, ‘that’s stupid why would you do something like that.’ But in his world it’s the most exciting thing he’s ever done and it’s fun. He’s the world’s best backward driver. Nobody cares that he’s a backward driver but to Mater and everybody in that town that boy can drive backwards and everybody is proud of him. The character is such a nice, if you ever wanted a friend you’d want Mater. He’s just till the end. He is McQueen’s buddy.” |
