KATE BURTON RETURNS TO GREY’S ANATOMY

(VIDEO) Kate Burton is looking forward to next year’s Grey’s Anatomy season.

Kate Burton isn’t sad like the rest of America who have to wait a full summer for the next season of Grey’s Anatomy. Playing the mother of surgical intern Meredith Grey was challenging for Kate and she vows to return next year.

Rounding out the stellar cast is Patrick Dempsey who is affectionately known as McDreamy by Meredith Grey and her intern buddies but Kate says they would never dare call him that off camera.

“No I’m gonna be on it next year. I was a little exhausted by the fire. I was like, ‘oy vey what more can happen!’ It’s been an amazing experience Grey’s Anatomy. I’m very happy to have done it. I had no idea, none of us had any idea it would be what it is. It’s actually a very interesting part. I had a good time.”
