JULIETTE LEWIS CLOSE TO HER CHARACTER

(VIDEO) Juliette Lewis has finally found a character she comes close to in Aurora Borealis.

Normally you’d see Juliette Lewis playing quirky off the wall characters but in Aurora Borealis she’s finally met her match in Kate, the home care worker who is hired to take care of Donald Sutherland, a Parkinson’s disease patient.

In the film Juliette falls in love with Joshua Jackson who is living with his grandparents after his father dies. She loved playing Kate because like herself Juliette is inquisitive and curious about other people.

“My character’s thing is she’s used to being independent. She’s kind of fearless in a way. It’s a character that’s fun for me because it’s kind of close to myself. I usually play very colorful or extreme characters which is what I like. Yes I think she’s colorful but she’s just a really cool girl and she’s confident and loves meeting new people, seeing new things, tasting new foods.”

“I think I relate to her in that way because actually when I meet new people I’m really intrigued. I kind of want to drink them in and I ask lots of questions because I’ll just love getting into people’s lives and their own idiosyncrasies. I guess being an actress that stuff is really appealing and interesting and she’s like that a lot.”
