(VIDEO) Snakes On a Plane star Julianna Margulies talks about what happens when you mix together your two greatest fears.

Julianna Margulies stars in Snakes On a Plane as the head flight attendant making her last trip on the snake infested journey before she heads off to law school. Julianna who is not the biggest fan of snakes talks about how realistic the special effects were.

An avid flyer herself Julianna has recently been jaunting back and forth to New Mexico to shoot The Lost Room but can certainly empathize with what happens when you mix together our greatest fears with no way out.

“They showed us real snake bite victims and what they look like and then someone would walk out of the make-up trailer looking exactly like that. You can not believe what happens to people so between the snakes and the plane and the special effects and the make-up and all that, it’s so visually stimulating.”

Truth be told, Julianna refuses to see Jaws because she doesn’t want to taint her love of the ocean. Snakes On a Plane opens tomorrow.

“I think it’s this fear of the unknown that people like to get scared out of their minds with. I think when you watch Jaws it was OK to watch it because you were sitting in a dry theater and there’s something about this idea of your two biggest fears. I actually love flying, I’m not afraid to fly at all but people are really afraid of planes and they’re afraid of snakes and here you are in a plane and you can’t get away from the one thing that you have the biggest fear of, snakes.”
