The Diplomats’ Juelz Santana recently released the third single from his gold certified sophomore album, What The Game’s Been Missing? The new single is “Clockwork” and the rapper explained how the song relates to everyday life. He said,

Santana is a busy man these days and that’s not just from his touring schedule. The rapper and his mother still own and operate a clothing store, Santana Town, and Juelz recently partnered with H3 Enterprises to bring the Hip Hop Soda Shop franchise to Harlem. In addition, the rapper is working on his own clothing line, Mazia, which will be licensed by Z Line Clothing.

“And I mean ‘Clockwork’ is just a song, basically talking about no matter what you do, how you get your money, the day in life is all run by a clock. That tick and that tock baby, you got to get your money. If you don’t get it on time, you gonna get docked. So that’s what it’s all about, that clockwork. So I’m teaching people how to get it and get it on time like clockwork baby, you dig?”

Santana, who is already working on his third solo album, is also trying his hand at television and film. He’s one of the stars of Cam’ron’s straight to DVD gangster flick, Killa Season, and he will be a special guest star on an upcoming episode of the Andy Milonakis Show.
