JONNY LANG AND JURASSIC 5 HELP HEAL THE BAY

On August 27th Arrowhead Brand Water joined up with Heal the Bay to throw Venice Beach a free concert, featuring Jurassic 5 and Jonny Lang. Thousands of Volunteers who helped clean up the beach were also treated to a free show afterwards on a picturesque day in Southern California.

We caught up with Soup of Jurassic 5 just before hitting the stage to discuss the importance of cleaning our beaches and bays and also the fact that Jurassic 5 is a community group and eager to stand behind important community issues.

“You know were a community group. When there’s something that comes up in the community and it’s sensible and it makes sense and we can stand behind it a 100 percent, we’re there! So when this thing came up I thought it was a good thing and we we’re like we’ll definitely do it. It was a no brainer. Plus it’s LA, I’m from LA, it’s the beach, it’s a nice day and you get to see everybody so I was like, let’s do it man.”

Jonny Lang is currently on a North American tour that will extend until November 18th in Chicago, Il. Jurassic 5 are also touring North America until the band departs for Europe, beginning September 23rd in Dublin Ireland and lasting until October 23rd in Madrid Spain.
