JONATHAN PRYCE PUTS HIS VOICE ON

(VIDEO) Jonathan Pryce does voiceover for adult animated film Renaissance.

Jonathan Pryce takes on the world of adult animation drawn in line representations of characters in Renaissance. Set in Paris 2054 it tells the story of the city’s largest cosmetics company which pervades every pore of society to sell youth and beauty. Jonathan says the story of Renaissance is based on the universal truth that government and big business work hand in hand.

The Welsh actor has done voiceovers before but none that are decidedly for an older audience.

“And it’s also induced by big business the health industry, and the beauty industry but the health industry itself promotes and needs sickness, disease, illness in order to sell vast amounts of medicine and the cosmetics industry the same. Fear of not looking right, fear of not fitting in. Fear of not being beautiful. The individual is not recognized for their own strengths and qualities.”

Jonathan who is well versed in the blockbuster budget having starred in two Pirates of the Caribbean with a third on the way as Governor Weatherby says he’s impressed by the cost of making Renaissance.

“I mean I’ve done voices in other animated films but never anything in kind of an adult animated film which I just wanted to do.”

“I mean you can make this entire film for what I imagine less than what Daniel Craig will eventually be paid for James Bond.”
