JOHN LEGUIZAMO LOVES THE EIGHTIES ON EARL

John Leguizamo has a flashback to the 80s when he guest stars on My Name Is Earl.

When My Name is Earl star Jason Lee accidentally gets their chambermaid friend Catalina deported, he and his brother Randy go on a full-fledged mission to rescue her on tomorrow night’s episode.

Along the way Earl is kidnapped by gunmen, and taken hostage by an eighties clad criminal played by guest star John Leguizamo.

“Well my character is kind of in love or trapped in the eighties hence the gold parachute pants, the cut-offs, that weird Clash belt thing. Rock The Kasbah, Rock The Kasbah. He don’t like it. I wear like a Michael Jackson beaded jacket. Air Jordans, they’re back. That’s why I did it for the eighties wardrobe.”

John also did the episode to work with Jason Lee and the opportunity to guest star on a series that not only is funny but has something to say.

“Well I think the whole message of the karma thing, do good to others. I think that’s the best message that’s out there on television. That’s why I think it attracts people. It’s hilarious but it’s got that beautiful message of you messed up and now’s your chance to fix it.”

My Name Is Earl airs Thursday at 8PM on NBC.
