Fans who watched the Garmmy Awards last weekend got to see John Legend, Corinne Bailey Rae, and John Mayer perform together. Now fans will get to see two of the trio nightly as Legend has selected Rae to open up for him on his new tour. Legend explained the decision. He said,

The tour will kick off on in April.

“It’s a good business decision. Nah she’s doing extremely well. She’s making great music and we felt like together we could do better than we could do apart. And I think it’s gonna work really well.”

Legend added two more Grammys to his collection on Sunday night including best male R&B vocal performance for “Heaven,” and best R&B performance by a duo or group with vocals for “Family Affair” featuring Joss Stone and Van Hunt.

Legend’s latest album, Once Again, was recently certified platinum for sales of a million copies.
