JOHN LEGEND JUST ENJOYING THE ACCOLADES

John Legend has been nominated for 11 Grammy Awards between his first two albums but for the singer, the accolades are just an added bonus. Legend explained,

Legend is scheduled to perform on Sunday night, February 11th, at the 49th Annual Grammy Awards with John Mayer and Corinne Bailey Rae. He’s up for three awards at the show.

“Yeah I mean all these nominations are nice. I’ll take them. I just got nominated for two Soul Train Awards. It’s an honor. All this stuff is an honor. It’s good to be recognized for what you do and what you love to do. You don’t do it for the awards but it’s a nice bonus.”

The singer’s latest album, Once Again, was recently certified platinum for sales of one million copies.

He’ll be launching a tour later this spring with Corinne Bailey Rae.
