Last week John Legend was honored for his singwriting by the Songwriter’s Hall of Fame. The singer, who is still promoting his latest album, Once Again, is slated to head overseas in thw coming weeks. He explained, |
After completing his European tour, Legend will perform at Jazz Aspen Snowmass’ soul-music day. The singer will hit the stage on Saturday, September 1st, during the 2007 Labor Day Festival. Some of the other acts performing at the festival include Joss Stone, Allman Brothers Band, Gov’t Mule, Ben Harper & The Innocent Criminals, Leftover Salmon, Dereks Trucks Band and Susan Tedeschi, among others. |
“After this I’m going on tour to Africa and Europe. And I’m going to South Africa and Nigeria and all over western Europe as well. I’m doing a bunch of festivals. I’m excited to go.” |
Legend is also expected to begin work on his third album shortly. |
