JOHN CENA VISITS TROOPS IN IRAQ WITH WWE
John Cena, star of The Marine, and the rest of the WWE visited the troops in Baghdad as part of their Tribute to the Troops event. |
John Cena has travelled to Baghdad as part of the World Wrestling Entertainment USO tour Tribute To The Troops. The star of the The Marine joined other comrades from wrestling for a week stint to hang and wrestle for our armed forces stationed there. |
Cena who has visited the military on many occasions and portrayed a solider coming home from Iraq, talked about our men and women of service. |
“As much as they are…it’s a positive thing for them to be there to serve their country, because that’s what they enjoy doing, to see the faces on the troops on the way home or to pass them in the airport where they’ve just been deplyed for a year, they’re so happy to be home. My experience with that. I just used what I’ve seen in the middle of a combat zone. I’ve seen troops in a combat zone and I’ve seen troops that have been home recently from being deployed, I’ve seen troops six months from being deployed, I’ve seen troops a year from being deployed, they always seem to have this sense of accomplishment. But it’s an unbelievably happy time for them, and it’s always good to see our soldiers get home safe.” |
For those who want to see Britney’s ex get his butt kicked in the ring, on New Year’s Cena will take on Kevin Federline. Fans can view the match on the WWE program Raw, which will air Monday night. |
