JOE WANTS TO SET AN EXAMPLE FOR OTHERS
Aerosmith bassist Tom Hamilton is nearly a year-and-a-half out of treatment for throat cancer and he gives us an update. |
R&B singer-songwriter Joe will release his sixth album, Ain’t Nothing Like Me, on April 24th. The album will feature guest appearances by Nas, Fabolous, Young Buck, Tony Yayo, Chamillionaire, and Papoose, with the production of Jimmy Jam & Terry Lewis, Brian Michael Cox, Sean Garrett, Cool & Dre, and Tim & Bob. The latest single and video from the project is “If I Were Your Man.” |
Joe released his debut album, Everything, in 1993 on Polygram Records. The singer explained that he’s matured a lot since then and that he wants to set an example for others. Joe said, |
“For me it’s all about growth. You know I was young when I first did my first record, nineteen. You know what I mean? I got a little bit more mature so I’m trying to be the best at this maturity level that I can be or as anyone can be. So I’m setting examples. I want to be an inspiration.” |
In related news, Joe and Brian McKnight will be co-headlining a tour that kicks-off later this month. Sunshine Anderson will open for the two singers. |
