JIM JONES INKS DEAL FOR BYRD GANG RECORDS
Jim Jones is a rapper, director, and co-CEO of Diplomat Records whose roster includes: Jones, Cam’ron, Juelz Santana, Hell Rell, and J.R. Writer. Jones also has a day job as an A&R executive at Warner Brothers Records and recently he engineered a deal for a new label, Byrd Gang Records through Asylum Records. |
Jones said, |
“Yeah I just did a new label deal. It’s called Byrd Gang Records. It’s done off of Asylum Records. You got Jha Jha, the first lady of Dipset, Max B, you know we bubbling.” |
In related news, Cam’ron will release his new album, Killa Season, in February. The album is the first release under the Diplomats new distribution deal with Asylum Records which is independent of the Byrd Gang Records deal. |
