JHA JHA TRYING TO MAKE IT HAPPEN

Miami-based rapper Jha Jha is the first lady of the Harlem-based Diplomats rap collective. The up-and-coming rapper was recently signed to the Warner Music Group through a new deal between the Diplomats’ Byrd Gang label and Asylum Records.

Jha Jha will have a tough time making it no matter who she is affiliated with as only a handful of female rappers have made it big in the male dominated rap industry.

“It’s definitely a challenge and a honor cause I’m the first female and I’m from Miami, the south, so just to have a south female embedded into a Harlem group, super group. That’s an honor and a pleasure and you know a privilege for me so that’s one thing and also it just taught me how to be a real thorough rapper, entertainer cause I’m an entertainer. They showed me about the business aspect. They taught me a lot.”
