JESSICA ALBA BONDS WITH THE PENGUINS
Jessica Alba bonded with the penguins she worked with in Good Luck Chuck. |
Jessica Alba plays the penguin wrangler at an aquarium in Good Luck Chuck who treats the furry creatures like they were her own children. Jessica learned from the handlers on the set what makes them purr. |
She discovered she was the penguin whisperer as they took to her right away. |
“I wasn’t really ever exposed to penguins myself but spending time with them I have a warm fuzzy feeling about them now. I talk to them like they’re my puppy. You get like that puppy voice. I get that puppy voice with the little penguins. And so I would just massage the back of their necks. They don’t like everyone, but they do like me and I would massage the backs of their necks and they would just sort of rest on their tummies on my hand. And they’re great animals.” |
A species that doesn’t mate for life is the human one. Jessica who’s had an on again, off again relationship with Cash Warren says it’s nice to see a movie that strives towards finding a soul mate. |
“It’s definitely a broad, physical comedy. It’s R rated so it’s sort of pushing the envelope in a lot of the comedy. But then there is a very sweet, very true love story at the core of it and it really is about finding your soul mate and not letting that person go once you find them. And doing whatever it takes to hang on because it is so rare to find someone that gets you and you get; someone that you’re compatible with.” |
This was the first time Jessica has done a physical romantic comedy. She liked it so much she’s doing it again in the dramedy called Bill starring Aaron Eckhart as the title character. |
