JENNA DEWAN IN STEP WITH CHANNING TATUM FOR STEP UP

(VIDEO) Step Up stars real life chemistry was always evident to star Jenna Dewan.

Step Up stars Jenna Dewan and Channing Tatum have taken their on-screen romance to reality, but it was always evident to Jenna that their chemistry was in step.

Their chemistry flowed into their dancing as well where Jenna, a professional dancer immediately trusted the inexperienced but sporty Tatum with the lifts.

“We liked each other instantly. He’s a really good person. He’s a really open person and I’m a really open person so from the get go in rehearsals we just started creating this chemistry together that really helped us in the scenes and the movie. It was just a genuine natural flow. It was perfect.”

Jenna and Channing began dating last year after the film wrapped and have been keeping in step ever since.

“It’s kind of fun because he’s obviously very athletic and very strong so the lifts, he’s fearless. He’s done sports his whole life so he was like, ‘what do you do, run, jump,’ and I trusted him instantly after that. I don’t know why, but it was very easy to trust him. He would just lift me and I was very comfortable. But it was kind of hard, sort of interesting but it became an easier transition to get both of us to work well.”
