JAZZE PHA SAYS HAPPY HOUR IS ON HOLD

Producer Jazze Pha and Cee-Lo recorded a joint album for Capitol Records titled, Happy Hour, which was scheduled for release earlier this year. The project has been shelved indefinitely. Jazze Pha explained,

Jazze Pha is currently working on the debut album from female quartet Cherish. Cee-Lo has been busy with the success of his Gnarls Barkley project and he’s slated to begin working on a new Goodie Mob album.

“I don’t know about the Happy Hour album. Right now we’re just really on top of what we doing. Me and Cee-Lo about to go back in the studio and do some other things and just some writings, you know what I’m sayin’? That will come around. Right now I think it’s really time for me to focus on the Jazze Pha label, Sho’Nuff Records, you know what I’m sayin’? I think that’s what I need to be focusing on right now cause a see a lot of artists and a lot of music cats doing everything backwards, man, and the artists ain’t really getting no shine. So I think it’s time for my artists to get some shine. Then I’ll come on back in, you know I’ll get a little shine too.”

Sho’Nuff’s roster includes Ciara, Jody Breeze, Cherish, and Lloyd.
