JAY Z TO OPEN 40/40 SPORTS BAR IN LA

Hip hop mogul Jay-Z opened his second 40/40 sports bar in Atlantic City this month and the rapper already has plans to build a third lcoation in Los Angeles. Jay-Z is building the new sports bar in downtown Los Angeles near the Kodak Theater. The rapper has decided to partner with former NBA great turned entreprenuer Magic Johnson for the project.

Johnson told MTV.com, “I think we both saw that we’re both doing some big things. When two people are doing big things and grew up the same way, just in different arenas, it’s time for us to do things together. We have the same mindset; he dominated in his field, I dominated in my field. It’s positive that the hip-hop arena and basketball arena cross over. It’s all about entertainment.”
