JAY Z LENDS RICK ROSS A VERSE
Earlier this year Jay-Z won a bidding war for the services of veteran Miami rapper Rick Ross. After the signing Jay-Z told MTV.com that Rick Ross’ project was a priority for Def Jam Records. The project appears to be such a priority that Jay-Z has recorded a verse for the remix of Ross’ hit, “Hustlin’.” Ross said, “We have some more surprises. But I just heard what Jay did, and it’s a $10 million 16 [bars] straight up.” |
The rapper has also decided to re-title his Def Jam debut, Port of Miami. The set was originally titled Career Criminal. |
Ross’ album is slated for a summer release but in the meantime fans can catch him on the remix of T.I.’s “What You Know?” and Shawnna’s “Gettin Some.” |
