JANET JACKSON STILL HARD AT WORK ON ALBUM

Janet Jackson recently released the first single, “Call On me” featurning Nelly from her new album, 20 Years Ago, which hits stores on September 26th. The album will feature the production of Jermaine Dupri and Jimmy Jam & Terry Lewis.

Jam recently explained that they’re still hard at work on the new album. He said,

“It’s the first time we’ve actually been like sitting in the room together and collaborating rather than like long distance and stuff. And Jermaine’s like sample a bunch of our songs so that’s sort of a collaboration. But it’s been absolutely wonderful. He’s the best. It’s been great working with him on the project. It’s not done by any stretch of the imagination. The single is but the album is not til September 26th so we’ll still doing stuff right up until whenever they tell us the deadline is.”
