JAMIE FOXX SAYS FEDERAL GOVERNMENT HAS TO GET JOB DONE IN NEW ORLEANS

Actor and singer Jamie Foxx is currently promoting his new movie, Miami Vice, which opens this Friday, July 28th. The Oscar winner has found the time to strike up some controversy as he’s been linked to Dave Navarro’s soon-to-be ex-wife Carmen Electra. New York Post’s Page Six reports that Jamie’s arm was around Carmen more than once and whispers were exchanged several times during a secret Gnarls Barkley performance in New York City. The source told the paper, “No one saw them kissing, but they left together out the back. It seemed like they were out on a date.”

In related news, Foxx has been using his celebrity to help rebuild New Orleans. He explained,

“We’re really trying to make people understand that the situation has not gone away. It’s tough because you know once the media is done with a story, you kind of forget about it. But the only way to get things done down there because it’s such devastation is through the federal government. So when we reach out to you and say help us out just by putting emails, doing whatever you can, it’s the federal government. That’s who we need to talk to.”
