JAMIE FOXX ENDS FEUD WITH LL COOL J

Academy Award winner Jamie Foxx and rapper LL Cool J have had a long standing feud since the men were involved in a skirmish on the set of the 1999 movie, Any Given Sunday. Since then LL has been the butt of many jokes during Foxx’s stand up routines and the men have steered clear of each other. Earlier this year the two finally were able to put an end to their differences and this summer, LL joined Foxx on stage at WQHT’s Summer Jam.

Foxx explained how they made their peace. He said,

“Well I think LL and I saw each other at a basketball game and it was right after the Oscars. And we saw each other, shot a look and we said, ‘Man.’ In that look it was like look at all the time we wasted having this kind of like, you know, silly thing between us. So we got together, we did two records together. The records are hot. They’ll be coming out probably next year. And you know whether it’s an example or not, I don’t know. But you know we squashed it cause we getting older. When you get older it’s harder to kind of hold all that silly stuff.”

In related news, Foxx’s new movie, Miami Vice, opens this weekend.

The star was rumored to be dating Carmen Electra who recently announced a split from her husband rock star Dave Navarro. But Electra has since denied going out with Foxx. She told People magazine that the night she was allegedly out with Foxx at Club Element in Hollywood she was actually home watching TV with Navarro. The two are still living together although they’ve announced plans to divorce.
