JAMES WOODS VISITS ENTOURAGE

James Woods is the first celebrity guest star of the third season of Entourage. It’s hard enough for movie stars to have friends they can trust, let alone an entourage. James talks about the extent of his tight knit circle which includes his best friend and the new love of his life.

In the scene James plays a parody of himself taking a meeting with Ari Gold played by Jeremy Piven in his new found agency digs. His dutiful assistant Lloyd played by Rex Lee says working with Woods was a frightening experience.

“You know honestly I never had an entourage. I was one of those people who never had a group of people like that. I had one friend, my buddy Scott Sandler who was always with me all the time, he’s in real estate. People would always say, ‘is that your bodyguard?’ And he was my buddy, he’d hang out with me. That was my entourage. Now Ashley is my entourage.”

“Look who I got here. We have one of the funniest scenes together. He says, ‘I have Mr. James Woods right here.’ So on the set everybody goes, ‘Is Mr. James Woods around?’ He’s so talented. Rex Lee: He’s so intimidating. He was playing the scary version of James Woods so I was scared. James: Every time they’d do the scene I’d start laughing. I’m sorry you are so funny, so talented really. Rex: Thank you.”
