“KayGee is like a mentor, gave me my first opportunity. And we both from Jersey so, he gave me my first chance. I owe him so much. And in return you know I told him I always be here. I’ll never be one of artists that get the cloud in his head. You know, ‘I can do it by myself.’ It’s not about that. It’s about keeping the chemistry and remembering those that were there for you from the start. And he was definitely one of the first to give me a chance.” |
Jaheim explained that he will always stay loyal to Naughty By Nature’s KayGee who signed him to his first deal. The singer said, |
Jaheim’s last release was 2006’s gold certified Ghetto Classics. The singer’s previous releases include, 2001’s Ghetto Love and 2002’s Still Ghetto, which were both certified platinum for sales of a million copies. |
