JAGGED EDGE HOOKS UP WITH JOHN LEGEND

R&B quartet Jagged Edge will release their new album self-titled album on December 20th. The lead single from the project is “so Amazing” featuring Voltio. The album was produced by the group, Jermaine Dupri, The Corna Boyz, Chad Elliott, Don Vito, and Cheese.

One of the album’s guest is John Legend who appears on the song, “Season’s Change.” Group member Brian Casey explained how the collaboration with John Legend happened. He said,

“The John Legend record, actually I think like he said before you see artists and we all kind of get into the machine of making hit records. You know when you do a record you got to put this rapper on it or that rapper and I think we just wanted to work with a fellow artist, a singer. Things that you know we haven’t done in the past and things that people don’t do too often period and that was the main motivation behind John Legend. The song itself we had actually produced months before we got with John Legend. He came in and he replayed his piano part and just killed it and nailed it. It’s a hot record.”
