JAGGED EDGE EXPLAIN WHY THEIR LAST ALBUM STALLED
R&B group Jagged Edge released their last album Hard in 2003. The set was certified gold but it was a substantial drop-off from the group’s third album, 2001’s Jagged Little Thrill, which was certified platinum. Group member Brian explained why the record didn’t live up to expectations. He said, |
Jagged Edge will release their fifth studio album, Jagged Edge, in December. The group released the set’s lead single, “So Amazing” featuring Voltio, last month. |
“The main thing that happened with the last album is like usually you know us for about three, four singles per album but what we were shooting for is this album that’s out now we had a few songs that was already done early. We was really trying to shoot to come with that album back to back and we kinda missed that cause some of the things we had set up for this album like some cameos and things took longer than we wanted. So our plan was to drop two singles and by the time that album was doing what we wanted to do, the next album would be coming out but we weren’t able to do that cause of little setbacks. So I think that’s the main thing, we only dropped two singles, you know what I mean? |
