JACKIE CHAN AND CHRIS TUCKER RETURN TO RUSH HOUR

In the third installment of Rush Hour, Jackie Chan and Chris Tucker fight crime in Paris.

Chris Tucker is back in Rush Hour 3 as Detective Carter joining his partner Inspector Lee played by Jackie Chan in their international crime fighting spree catching the bad guys and kicking butt.

This time the odd cop couple gets mixed up with a Chinese organized crime crew in Paris where they have to answer to an unfriendly inspector played by Roman Polanski. Chris says the Rush Hour films are all about location, location, location.

“You know Rush Hour we’re famous for traveling all over the world. The last one was in Las Vegas and Hong Kong and this one we were in Paris, France. Man let me tell you I’d never seen Paris shot so cool.It’s just way, way, way just faster paced, more comedy, more danger. More everything in this movie.”

Chris and Jackie were even given a choice where to shoot Rush Hour 3. Jackie talks about how the city of lights won in the end.

“Rush Hour 3 the first draw is Hawaii. Hawaii good for me, for Asian boy good Hawaii but Chris refused. No we’re in America. Why aren’t we filming in America. We have to film outside of America. I said where do you want to go? I want to go to Bangkok. I’m the Asian boy. Bangkok, no. I refused. So then Brett Ratner said, ‘OK which way we go? Let’s go to Paris.’ Then we both agree, Paris good. Rush Hour 3 is this kind of movie, beautiful clothing, beautiful country, beautiful place, beautiful women, beautiful car, clean beautiful action.”

Rush Hour 3 which opens Friday, August 10th in theaters welcomes back director Brett Ratner doing what he does best, combining action and comedy.
