R&B singer J Holiday has his first gold record. The singer’s debut album, Bac of My Lac, has sold over 500,000 copies since it ws released in October. The set’s success is largely due to its breakout hit single, “Bed.” The latest single from the project, “Suffocate,” continues to climb the charts. |
Capitol Records will reissue the album on February 5th with three new songs, all three J Holiday videos, and special behind the scenes material. |
“After I decided to break out from the group, you know what I’m sayin’? I ended up making it up to Capitol Records through relationships that T.A. had and my manager had. I went up there and they pretty much signed me on the spot, you know what I’m sayin’? I wrote all of the records that I got signed off of so that was a good look for me, you know what I mean?” |
The singer explained who he ended up signing with Capitol Records. He said, |
