Inc Records CEO Irv Gotti is truly the teflon don. The mogul, who was recently acquitted of federal money laundering and racketeering charges, has landed the Top slot on the Source magazine’s Power 30 list which lists the power brokers in the hip-hop industry. |
SOHH.com reports that Irv Gotti will have the list’s Number One spot, followed by MTV/MTV2 and Clear Channel. Jimmy Iovine and Interscope Records are listed at Number Four with BET and the Warner Music Group coming in at Number Five and Six. Followed by Def Jam and Jay-Z at Number Seven, Radio One at Number Eight, Russell Simmons at Number Nine, and Sean “Diddy” Combs at Number Ten. |
The list also includes: Jermaine Dupri at Number 13, Snoop Dogg at Number 14, Pharrell Williams at Number 15, Ludacris at Number 19, Damon Dash at Number 20, Scott Storch at Number 23, Lil Jon at Number 25, Kanye West at Number 27, Swizz Beatz at Number 29 and Jimmy Henchmen at Number 30. |
