INVINCIBLE SCORES TOUCHDOWN AT THE BOX OFFICE

(VIDEO) Invincible is number one at the box office, and men aren’t the only football fanatics.

Football season hasn’t even started yet and already Invincible has scored a touch down at the box office bringing in $17 million over the weekend. Comes September, most men in the household will take control of the remote for Sunday afternoon football leaving their wives and girlfriends to fend for themselves. That isn’t necessarily the case for Invincible star Kirk Acevedo and his Desperate Housewives spouse Kiersten Warren who is actually the football fanatic in the family.

Beth Ostrofsky, also known as Sirius radio jock Howard Stern’s leading lady is primed to be a couch potato due to a recent ankle injury falling down the stairs in her Jimmy Choos. Beth isn’t exactly the athletic type but she does enjoy watching football much more than Howard.

“I grew up with a father who watched football and he had control of the TV so it was like football or clean your room so I learned to like football.”

“We’ve never watched a football, oh we watched The Steelers because I’m from Pittsburgh. That’s the only reason we watched the Super Bowl. No, he’s not into sports. What do we watch? Smallville, Rockstar Supernova, Dancing With The Stars, Survivor, American Idol. Those are his favorites. That’s our Tivo. How sad is that? It’s so girlie.”
