INVINCIBLE ACTORS ADMIT BARTENDING GIGS

Most actors if they’ll admit it had bartending gigs to support their acting careers while they were working their way from audition to audition. Elizabeth Banks who plays a bartender at the local watering hole where she meets Mark Wahlberg’s Vince Papale in the film Invincible was quite familiar with tending bar to make ends meet all through college and in-between acting gigs.

Michael Rispoli usually plays wise guys or police officers in movies but for Invincible he’s getting his hands dirty in a different way.

“Yes I was a bartender in New York City among other places. Yes I worked in the restaurant business for quite some time while I was putting myself through college and grad school and when I started as an actor, yeah.”

The bar which was used in the film was located in Philadelphia, the same town where Elizabeth Banks went to college. rnrn

“That’s me, I’m either a cop or a crook but tonight I’m a bartender, bar owner. Yes I’ve been a bartender a lot actually and in movies a lot too. But this is my bar this time so I’m steppin’ up.”
