INCUBUS TO LAUNCH GRENADES IN NOVEMBER
(VIDEO) Incubus is set to launch ‘Grenades’ in November, and contribute to Make Yourself. |
Incubus has announced it will release its new album Light Grenades in November. The album is being produced by Brendan O’Brien and it was recorded in Los Angeles and Atlanta. The collection is the follow-up to A Crow Left Of The Murder, which spawned the hit “Megalomaniac.” |
Incubus will embark on a tour and a portion of the proceeds from the tour, and possibly whole earnings of select tour dates will be earmarked for the band’s “Make Yourself Foundation.” Vocalist Brandon Boyd talked to us about Make Yourself. |
“The Make Yourself Foundation has been a long time coming for us. We had been scattered works and contributions to charities here and there and we started to feel like it would be so much more advantageous to these chartities we were working with and also a little more wise as far as our time is concerned, the dilineation of our time, if we compiled all our efforts into one pool of sorts. Hence the Make Yourself Foundation.” |
Incubus hits the New York area on August 11th when the band takes the stage in Atlantic City as special guest performers on VH1’s Decades Live honoring The Pretenders. The band will join a lineup of Iggy Pop, Garbage’s Shirley Manson, and Kings of Leon. It will air in the fall. |
