ICE CUBE REMAKES CLASSIC

Welcome back, Kotter” will return thanks to Ice Cube. The rapper has signed a deal with Dimension films to turn the 1970’s TV series into a movie.

Cube will play the titled character, who returns to his inner-city high school to teach a group of young troublemakers.

“There was no bigger fan of the original show than me, and I’m very excited to be able to put a new twist on it,” Ice Cube said in a statement

Filming is scheduled to start this fall.
