ICE CUBE ISN’T DONE YET

Are We There Yet star Ice Cube reprises his role as Nick Persons in Are We Done Yet. Now a family man with twins on the way he moves to the country to live in his suburban dream home.

Ice Cube talks about how the sequel got it’s name.

“The Persons family, we are a family now and we’re living in my small cramped condo and it’s time to get a bigger spot. That’s where all the problems come. That’s why the movie is called Are We Done Yet because we buy this nice house and realize it’s a piece of junk and that’s where the story kind of takes off and you get all the laughs like you got in the first one.”

Ice Cube is a firm believer that every guy dreams of the whole suburban package which includes a wife and kids, a car and the house with a white picket fence which is why he likes the character.

“What I like about Nick is he doesn’t go from being cool to corny. He keeps his personality and tries to fit in with this family life which is what most people try to do. I think people really identify with him especially adults who are getting into this situation.”

Ice Cube is far from done yet. He has a reality show Good In The Hood in development at A&E which will document how criminals in the hood turn their life around for the good of the community, and he’s about to start First Sunday playing a criminal who plans to rob a church.
