HUSH IS BULLETPROOF
Detroit-based rapper Hush is hoping to follow in the footsteps of Eminem, D12, and Slum Village as the latest rap ambassador from the Motor City. The rapper released his debut album, Bulletproof, on Geffen Records earlier this fall. The latest single from the project is “Hush Is Coming” which was produced by Eminem |
Hush explained that he’s trying to capture the best of the underground while working wioth a major label. He said, |
“The first single is called ‘Hush Is Coming.’ It’s produced by Eminem. It features Nate Dogg on the hook. It’s crazy, it’s really crazy. That’s the A-side. The B-side is another joint with Talib Kweli called ‘Let It Breathe,’ that we pushing right now. It’s like an ode to hip-hop you know almost. ‘Cause I came up in that whole scene so it’s like coming from the underground and being able to be on a major label right now I’m trying to like bring those two, underground and over ground, together and trying to do it on that wave so having somebody like Em on the album and then Talib Kweli is like a balance for me.” |
