HOME OF THE BRAVE STARS BOND IN BOOT CAMP
Home of The Brave star Brian Presley bonded with co-stars 50 Cent and Chad Michael Murray on the battlefield. |
Newcomer Brian Presley plays a specialist who’s childhood friend dies in his arms on the battlefield in Home of The Brave. Presley felt like the new recruit when he was on the set with his Iraqi soldiers in arms co-stars 50 Cent and Chad Michael Murray. |
Brian says he couldn’t help but feel a little intimidated in the beginning. |
“It was intimidating going into it from the beginning because here I am my two best friends are 50 Cent and Chad Michael who is a big TV star so I wasn’t sure what to expect. Going over there, both guys we immediately hit it off and really formed a unique bond.” |
Brian says that bond was solidified with intensive training the cast received from a military advisor who was an ex-Marine in Iraq. |
“You know boot camp, we had a mini boot camp that we had a great time doing but we wanted to make sure that we treat it with great respect. Patrick O’Driscoll who played the sergeant in the film was a military advisor and had served in this war and he taught us how to shoot the guns, how to run with the guns. You know the tactics when you’re in war and the dialogue you have. So we had a lot of fun doing it and we were able to like cut up with each other and mess up and formed a bond. We wanted to take that to the scenes that we have together to show the camaraderie.” |
Brian goes from Iraq to the Mexican border, starring in Borderland with Sean Astin who stumble upon a human sacrifice cult during their college break. Home of The Brave opens today. |
