HEROES STAR SURVIVES THE DESERT
Heroes star Ali Larter spent her hiatus joining the convoy as the support system and guiding force for the escapees from Raccoon City in Resident Evil: Extinction. |
Ali says her fellow passengers are doing whatever it takes to survive the unforgiving conditions of the barren wasteland they must travel through the Nevada desert. |
“We’re just to the point where it’s all about survival. We travel within six trucks, ambulance, hummer, gas truck, a bus that people can sleep in. There are about 40 of us that are just holding on. You can’t stop too long. The only things that matter are the basic things that you need to survive, food, gas, water and so we’re just constantly in a state and moving just to stay alive.” |
Ali says audiences will be just as scared by what happens during the day in the film as they are with traditional nighttime horror. |
“It really is about trying to find horror and suspense within daylight and within shadows. I think they’re just trying to do a really fresh take on this genre and I think they have. You know what, people are gonna love this movie.” |
Ali Larter returns to her day job trying to save the world in Heroes returning September 24th on NBC. Resident Evil: Extinction opens Friday, September 21st in theaters. |
