“The part about Africa that is the most heart breaking to me is the fact that Bono who’s doing a great job, I think the guy really means it trying to raise awareness. Unless you pay attention, it’s like wow Africa needs money, actually billions of dollars have gone into Africa and that’s why some countries are somewhat resistant to giving money now. It’s not that they’re mean, it’s just that they have donor fatigue. They like look we gave you like 300 million dollars over the last 10 years and a bunch of war lords got it. No one ate. We give ‘em condoms, they won’t use ‘em. We give ‘em missionaries, they chew ‘em up and spit ‘em out. We give ‘em rice, it just gets sold. It doesn’t feed poor people.
