HANNAH MONTANA MAKES DVD DEBUT

(VIDEO) Hit Disney series Hannah Montana is out on DVD featuring Miley Cyrus.

The Disney channel’s break-out hit series Hannah Montana is now available on DVD, Volume 1:Livin’ The Rock Star Life. Starring Miley Cyrus, she plays a teenager by day and a secret pop star by night which is definitely not a stretch for the daughter of Billy Ray.

Billy Ray plays Miley’s manager dad in the series, something he knows about in real life as well. He says Hannah Montana is an experience he’ll never forget.

“The similarity with my character is that she just wants to follow her dreams and be with her friends and be with her friends and her family. Another thing is Hannah Montana also wants to be kind of like a role model and say, ‘go out there, go try, go live your dream. Have fun, be happy’ and that’s basically the message I’m trying to get across to kids.”

The DVD includes three episodes from the first season plus a never before seen episode, Miley Cyrus’ original audition tape for the role and a Hannah Montana music video.
