Gym Class Heroes are giving their fans a taste of their new material from their anticipated release, The Quilt. Despite fans not being familiar with the new material, members Disashi and Eric Roberts are grooving on the new tunes. |
We asked the Disashi what his favorite of the new batch was? |
“Me personally, right now, I’d have to say as far as live playing my two favorites are ‘Cookie Jar’ and ‘Live A Little,’ which again, one of those is like a club jam and one of those is a rock song.” |
The duo talked about what they like best about their forthcoming album, The Quilt. |
[Eric] “I love that there’s reggae on there. We put some straight reggae dub tracks. I love that I get to rock out on stage to his (Disashi’s) crazy rock songs. I don’t know. I can’t single anything out, It all pops out. It’s all popped out.” [Disashi] “I honestly change my answer every day, to be completely honest. Every day I wake up, ‘I feel like this today.'” [Eric] “Hopefully that’s how you’ll feel about our album.” |
Gym Class Heroes has also released an EP, Patches From The Quilt, to give fans a preview of the new album, which is set for release September 9. Guest appearances include Darryl Hall, Estelle, and Busta Rhymes. |
