GOTTI TRIAL MOVES FORWARD
The federal money laundering trial of Murder Inc Records CEO and president Irv and Chris Lorenzo is moving ahead full steam. So far there’s been testimony by a former Murder Inc employee, a police detective, and a former associate of Kenneth “Supreme” McGriff who testified that McGriff used drug proceeds to fund the staright to DVD film, Crime Partners. |
Jon Nichols a former employee of the label testified that he saw McGriff drop off large amounts of cash in shoeboxes to the label on several occassions and that Chris Gotti would ordered the company account to cut him a check. |
Prosecutors are hoping to introduce evidence that McGriff was involved in the attempt on 50 Cent’s life in 2000. |
The Gotti brothers could receive up to twenty years behind bars if they are found guilty on all charges. |
