GOOD CHARLOTTE GETS GRAMMY THREADS, PLUS DUDS FOR DUFF
(VIDEO) Good Charlotte took to the Grammy Style Studio to not only pick up threads for the awards on Wednesday, but Joel Madden also picked up something for his significant other, Hillary Duff… |
Good Charlotte’s Benji and Joel Madden paid a visit to the Grammy Style Studio, arranged by Kate Nobelius, to see the world’s best designers put their best foot forward days before Wednesday’s Grammy Awards. The guys browsed and tried on accessories by the world’s best designers, and got some free and some loaner items for their appearance at music’s biggest event. |
Joel and Benji Madden talk about the Grammy Style Studio, and how much the organizers and participating designers in the loop with what musicians of all walks are looking for. |
[Joel] “Actually it’s nice when you come to these things and they actually have stuff you like. Like Ben Sherman, and LAMB, all that stuff. It’s cool.” [Benji] “I got a Ben Sherman suit. I’m pretty psyched.” [Joel] “A lot of times you come to these, and after so many there’ll be a bunch of stuff you like and you don’t take a thing. But here there’s some stuff you like. It’s cool.” |
The boys were then asked about shopping for the women in their lives, and Joel Madden said that he’s always on the look out for his woman, Hillary Duff. |
[Joel] “Yeah, every once in a while I’ll find something that’s I think is really cool, and I’ll bring it home and i’ll be like, ‘Hey check this out. I got it for you at this thing, and she’s always like, ‘Cool.’ We do that for each other though. She does the same thing for me.” [Benji] “They’re a very generous couple. They treat each other very well.” [Joel] “Every time you see something that reminds you of someone you love, you should pick it up. There was a sweatshirt, from Ben Sherman, this pink sweatshirt that I thought she’d really like. I got that for her.” |
Good Charlotte is at the awards to hang out, and support their friends at the show. The band is currently working on their next album, which should be finished by spring and out in the summer. |
