GHOSTFACE KILLAH GETS STREET LOVE

Ghostface Killah will release his fifth solo album, Fishscale, on March 28th. The album will be the rapper’s second release since joining the roster of Def Jam Records. While Ghostface has been plagued by the modest sales of his last two projects, 2001’s Bulletproof Wallets and 2004’s The Pretty Toney, he’s still eb able to maintain his street credibility. The rapper explained the importance of street love. He said,

Fishscale features guest appearances by Raekwon, Ne-Yo, and Trife Da God with the production of Pete Rock, Just Blaze, MF Doom, and the late Jay Dee.

“Street love is beautiful man. It’s like cause real recognize real man, you know what I mean? I get it all the time and it’s like real n****s recognize. And it’s like, yo it’s all love, you know what I’m sayin’? F**k all that other sidekick s**t, you know what I’m sayin’?”

The latest single from the project is “Back Like That” featuring Ne-Yo.
