(VIDEO) Ghostface hooks up with Kanye West for remix of “Back Like That.”

Ghostface Killah and Kanye West have hooked up for a remix of Ghostface’s “Back Like That” featuring Ne-Yo. The original version of the song peaked at Number 76 on the Billboard Hot 100 singles chart. It was a matter of time before the two artists worked together as they are both signed to Def Jam Records.

Ghostface, who recently wrapped a U.S. tour, has in the past shied away from recording radio records but “Back Like That” has been a huge success for the rapper and helped his latest album, Fishscale, enter the Billboard 200 albums chart at Number Five. The set sold more than 110,000 copies its first week in stores.

“‘You know what Starks give me three radio joints, I promise you, you’ll do about two million records. I promise you. Just give them to me.’ You know that club sh*t is alright but it got to be certain sh*t I get on like that. A lot of the sh*t I don’t like that’s why I don’t be hollering at ni***s and sh*t, you know what I’m sayin’? So it was like alright f**k, I did the Carl Thomas sh*t. I did that sh*t. Yeah it was like that probably been the most radio sh*t I ever had on my sh*t, you know what I’m sayin’? But I tried to do it because I’m trying to get there, you know what I’m sayin’? The rapper explained how releasing a radio song backfired in 2001 when he released, “Never Be The Same” featuring Carl Thomas and Raekwon, from his Bulletproof Wallets album. He said,
