Sopranos star James Gandolfini brings his expertise playing thugs into the political arena in the film All The King’s Men. Using his strong arming tactics his character assists Willie Stark played by Sean Penn with his political agenda as the governor of Louisiana.

Gandolfini reunites with Sean Penn. The power house actors haven’t worked together since She’s So Lovely which also starred Penn’s wife Robin Wright. James talks about acting opposite the academy award winner.

“People that didn’t want to talk to they’ll send him to talk to these people. He speaks the same language; money, greed, not a lot of conscience. So again he knows a great deal about how to get things done. It was a great experience for me. It was probably one of the greatest experiences I’ve ever had in a movie. It was always interesting. It was always alive. It was always very different, it was a different kind of role for me.”

While Gandolfini is currently shooting episodes for the next season of The Sopranos you can catch him as Tony Soprano in the upcoming video game The Sopranos: Road To Respect.rnrn
