Gabrielle Anwar takes a journey through the mines on location in Kenya in The Librarian: Return to King Solomon’s Mines where her character does more than experience the animals in their natural element. |
Noah Wyle reprises his role as Flynn, the librarian who unwittingly gets caught up in these Indiana Jones-like adventures. Gabrielle who plays somewhat of a know it all had to memorize pages of wordy dialogue finding it impossible to keep up with Noah. |
“I’m playing an archeologist who is looking for artifacts that will lead her towards any information regarding the Queen of Sheebah and happens upon Noah’s character Flynn. And her dig is ruined because of their meeting so she sort of has no choice but to go along with him and they fall in love along the way. And it’s very sweet and very funny and charming.” |
Gabrielle describes her character as a shero, a female hero and says the film has an important message to convey. |
“It’s been a real exercise in keeping up with his humor and his concentration and his horribly enviable ability to have his lines memorized within three seconds of reading them which unfortunately I don’t carry the same competency.”rn |
Gabrielle who is a mother herself is looking forward to sitting down with her kids to watch The Librarian: Return to King Solomon’s Mines airing Sunday December 3 at 8PM on TNT.rn |
