FOXY BROWN RECOVERING AFTER SURGERY

Rapper Foxy Brown recently underwent surgery to restore her hearing. Def Jam president Jay-Z explained, “She just had an operation out in L.A. and hopefully within the next couple of weeks her hearing will slowly start to come back.”

Brown suffered sudden hearing loss in both ears while recording her latest album, Black Roses. The rapper explained the agony and pain of her sudden hearing loss. She said,

“I have spent many confusing, agonizing nights crying in isolation and silence. To suddenly lose your hearing after ten years as a professional artist, I questioned God, ‘Why me?’ But today I stand before you blessed with only the voice of God in my ear as a vessel of inspiration.”

According to doctors, Brown could regain a large percentage of her hearing if the surgery is successful.
