FOXY BROWN IN THE HOLE BECAUSE OF HEARING PROBLEMS

Foxy Brown placed in solitary confinement….

Rapper Foxy Brown has been in solitary confinement since October 16th for several prison infractions but according to the rapper’s manager, Chaz Williams, her hearing issues are to blame. Brown was sentenced to 76 days of “punitive segregation” following three incidents earlier this month.

During the first incident on October 3rd, she was involved in a shoving match with another inmate. Williams said, “There was an incident where a girl attempted to confront her and she stood her ground, but there wasn’t any contact. Words were exchanged and that was it.” Brown was also accused of failing to take a drug test but according to Williams the rapper simply did not hear the request. He said, “Really she didn’t hear the request. She has a battery-operated device and sometimes it dies out.” According to Williams, by the time Brown realized what was being asked it was too late and prison officials decide to punish her.

“I’ve overcome a hearing, a hearing situation where I was completely deaf and my hearing has been restored. So there’s nothing for me to be upset or you know angry about.”

According to Williams, Brown got a visit last week from councilmember Charles Barron, who placed a call to the commissioner explaining Brown’s hearing impairment and to request she be taken out of punitive segregation. Brown was examined by a medical team and an investigation is underway.

Earlier this year, Brown shared how blessed she was to overcome her hearing issues. She said,
